Outside Design

I'm someone who'd do a 300 km/h lap of the Nürburgring and then go home and ugly cry to a K-drama. I've always been curious about the world beyond my own, which somewhere along the way turned into picking up a tiny bit of Mandarin, keeping Chinese and Korean dramas on heavy rotation, and developing a love for underground Swedish rap and K-pop. I also have a Pinterest board for my fashion aesthetic that I take embarrassingly seriously. These are the things that bring the most joy to my days. I'm always happy to talk design, any of the above, or just listen to you nerd out about whatever you're into.

Motorsports & Sim Racing

I've followed F1 since 2013. Real motorsport costs hundreds of thousands, so sim racing is how most of us stay close to it. I'm ranked in the top 0.2% of iRacing's global driver rankings — which means sharing a grid with real-world professionals, including 3x F1 Esports champion Jarno Opmeer, who I've beaten.

I also race 24-hour endurance events in a Porsche 963. Weeks of prep, then suddenly you're doing a 4am handover — 30 seconds to brief someone who just woke up on lap times, fuel targets and race position before they drive at 350 km/h with the whole result on their shoulders. You get good at the short version.

Travel & Photography

I love getting out in nature and scaring myself on the edge of mountain tops. Studying abroad in Norway got me into photography — I knew I had to actually document it. I don't even post the photos anywhere. They just sit in Google Photos albums I open every now and then to remember the story behind each one.

The bucket list of where I want to take my camera next is always growing. Right now: Chongqing, Macau, Singapore, New York City, Saxer Lücke, and Lapland.

Music & Romance Dramas That Make You Cry

Growing up in a multicultural area meant early exposure to cultures from across the world — and picking up a tiny bit of Mandarin. These days that mostly means Chinese and Korean dramas. The First Frost, Hidden Love, and One Spring Night have all made me cry more than a few times.
